A Deep Dive into the Anomalo + BigQuery Integration

We’re excited to announce Anomalo’s integration with Dataplex Universal Catalog, embedding intuitive data quality metadata directly alongside your BigQuery data assets.  Leveraging a custom aspect, our integration includes:

• Pass / Fail Summaries: Instant, visual indicators of dataset health directly within the BigQuery UI
• Asset Labels:  Now teams can use data quality asset labels to filter and sort their data estate – for example, sort by tables that have successfully passed their data quality checks
• Deep Links to Anomalo: Speed up time to resolution by diving into Anomalo’s root cause analysis tools with a link directly from BigQuery
• Iceberg Table Support: Anomalo now supports Iceberg tables as part of Google Cloud’s BigLake, enabling customers to monitor data quality across open table formats in BigLake, BigQuery, and GCS
